Keeping your online course up to date
How to review course content when laws, regulations and professional practice change.
Courses about laws, regulations and professional standards need regular review. When a rule changes, the course and its assessment may need updating too. Otherwise learners can be left with out-of-date information.
Routine updates
Routine updates might include revised wording, a new example, a corrected detail or another question for the assessment bank. Care includes 3 hours of content changes each month, and Grow includes 6.
A yearly review
When a regulator changes its requirements or a law changes, a larger revision may be needed. Grow includes a yearly refresh of up to 1 learner hour of existing material. The updated course receives a new version number, which appears on certificates issued after the change.
Using learner feedback
Every plan includes a monthly report of sales, completions and learner feedback. If many learners miss the same question or stop at the same lesson, we can review what needs to change. Care includes an annual improvement review, while Grow includes a quarterly review.
Who makes the updates
We make the updates as part of your plan, so the work does not sit with someone in your organisation. You can also make changes yourself. Every build includes 2 hours of training.
